A global, continuously-updated standards framework for Data Science & AI education—led by DASCA and ARTiBA—that universities and training providers align to.
The WDSAI Standards Network (WSN) is the quality backbone behind future-ready Data Science & AI education. Built as a living framework that evolves with the field, it gives institutions a clear, benchmarked way to design, review, and evidence world-class programs. The Network is led by two prime global standards bodies—DASCA and ARTiBA—which codify curricula, competency models, outcomes, and assessment integrity. Institutions engage with the framework through audits and attestation pathways coordinated by WDSAI, while recognition and credentialing are governed by DASCA (for Data Science) and ARTiBA (for AI).
Vendor-neutral standards for Data Science programs: curriculum blueprints, outcome rubrics, exam bodies of knowledge, and faculty capability models mapped to industry roles. Focus areas: data engineering, analytics, ML foundations, MLOps baseline, data governance & ethics.
Role in WSN: Program standards authoring, accreditation decisions, credentials & registries.
Standards for AI-centric programs: AI engineering & product, applied ML, deep learning, LLMs & GenAI safety, responsible AI, deployment & lifecycle governance.
Role in WSN: Program standards authoring, accreditation decisions, credentials & registries.
The WDSAI Standards Network is a voluntary, non-regulatory quality framework. Attestation by WDSAI and Recognition by DASCA/ARTiBA confirm alignment with Network standards but do not confer governmental approval, institutional accreditation, program licensure, Title IV eligibility, or authorization to award degrees. Institutions remain solely responsible for compliance with all applicable laws and national quality-assurance requirements.
